The old 3 Step Smiles, bought by the Yorkshire group in 2025

Yorkshire Dental Suite did not build its Merseyside clinic — it bought one. The premises in Liverpool’s business quarter had housed 3 Step Smiles since 2022, run by Dr Tula and Blanca Crooke and known for full-mouth rehabilitation and complicated cases; they sold in the summer of 2025 to focus on their clinics in Spain. The site was re-registered with the Care Quality Commission as YDS Liverpool Ltd that July and refurbished into a spa-like suite — the group’s first move into the North West. Care is private.

Treatments and services

Cosmetic dentistry runs on Nanofill Composite Bonding®, the group’s registered resin protocol, with porcelain and zirconia veneers, crowns, white fillings, root canal treatment and extractions including wisdom teeth. Whitening uses trays from a 3D scan; hygiene includes Guided Biofilm Therapy. Orthodontics covers clear aligners mapped by algorithm plus fixed, ceramic and lingual braces, children and teenagers included.

Implants, referrals and sedation

The previous owners’ complex-case slant carried across. Single implants, implant-retained bridges, All-on-4 and full-arch rehabilitation run under Teeth in a Day™: implants go in and a fixed arch is fitted at the same visit, the definitive arch built later in the group’s own laboratory. Grafting and sinus lifting cover jaws that need building up first. Other dentists refer cases in; sedation runs from numbing creams through inhalation to intravenous and full-day options.

Getting there, and cover when it is urgent

Unusually for the commercial quarter, there is parking on site. Patients come from Birkenhead and the Wirral, from Old Swan and Walton, and from St Helens, Widnes and Runcorn beyond the city boundary. Urgent appointments are offered same-day or next-day subject to availability, and when the Liverpool diary is full the group can place a patient at another of its practices — a fallback no single-site surgery can match.
